Twenty-eight boys are also going to camp in the Cairngorm Mountains during the first ten days of the summer holidays and will get a chance to explore some of the remoter parts of Scotland. A great variety of sporting events has taken place during the Easter and Summer terms, including swimming, football, table tennis, boxing and crosscountry running. At the moment a rounders' competition is in progress and the Thistle Award Scheme in Athletics is in operation to improve the boys' standard of running, jumping, and shot-putting. At the end of term we shall be losing forty boys who are going to the Senior School and will be welcoming forty-five new boys who will be joining Wavell House at the beginning of the year.
